Just curious, does every one check the gallery every day or just if you are looking for a particular theme? I used to quickly scout daily and since about mid-April, have not for other reasons and now I wonder what super stuff did I miss without going back 20 pages?

It is sometimes hard to find the time but I try to go to the gallery and click on 'last uploads' and look at the ones I have not seen. Like Cindy6250 sometimes I spend more time than others. If I see something I like I will add it to my favorites so I can go back and look closer when I have more time.

Zamode if you haven't checked it out you should! There has been some GREAT work uploaded. I can honestly say I have seen every cake that has been uploaded since I joined a year ago! I hit the last uploads button every time I sit down here. I can't help myself I am afraid of missing something. I don't pull all of them up to full size, but I do see everyone of them at thumbnail stage! (addict-yeah I am and if your reading this at 12:17 in the morning so are you LOL)
Yes, I'm a fellow addict myself. I check it a few times a day. I have small children and whenever I get a chance, I click on the LAST UPLOADS to see what I missed since last time I checked. This whole website is addicting!! Sometimes, I feel I'm neglecting my children!

(if your DH's are giving you a hard time, be sure to click on the "Warning" icon at the top left and make them read it! I still doubt they will understand but at least you'll feel good about the effort!! CC on!!)

My name is Shereece and I'm........ a CCaholic!! I am a stay at home mom. My children are in school from 7:20 to 3:45. Sooo, between the hours of 7:20 and 3:45, the CC site is up on my screen. I have even made CC my home page!!!! I check it about every 20 minutes or so. I am soooo addicted, In the beginning, I would sit down when the bus left and before I knew it, the bus would be back!!!! No supper, beds unmade and my hair was not combed!!!! So, I would have to jump up and do a 15 minute house tidy and reheat some leftovers!!! LOL. I can sooo relate to the friendly warning. My husband just shakes his head until he sees the deposits I make to the cake account!!!!! Addicted and loving it

I just thought of something....when I was away from the computer, that not only am I checking on the CC site, I also check the Wilton forum and the CanadianCanada site...I am realllllly sick!!!!
I have noticed that many cakes get very few comments. If you guys are looking at so many of the added cakes, how come you neglect to comment on them? I know that I truly apreciate every comment that I get on a cake and find it kind of depressing when I only get 1 or 2 comments on a cake. I think it is great that you are all getting great ideas and viewing the uploaded cakes, but it seems it would only take a second to comment on the cakes once you have them on the screen!

In the (roughly) 10 weeks I've been a member here, more than 7,000 cake pictures have been loaded into the galleries. We're up to more than 36,000 photos already. There are currently over 34,000 forum members. It's not even feasible that every person could comment on every picture.
CC is a very positive and supportive community, and I think that comes through to most folks. I agree, everyone likes positive feedback on their work, or (for a lowly hobbyist like myself) at least reassurance that their cake isn't as bad as they fear. I do look at EVERY thumbnail in the "recent additions", but I only pull up full-sized pics (and comments) on cakes that have interest for me. If there's anything positive I can say, I do! And so do a LOT of people on CC.
But comment on every cake? There aren't that many hours in my day. 
On the other hand, it WOULD give me an excuse to be logged in longer...hmmm....
i put cc as my home page on my laptop, then i got another computer that my husband wasn't going to use no more so he set it up for me and when he was done told me it was ready and when i got on and hit my mozilla firefox icon and CC came up as my home page i looked at my husband saying thank u thank u thank u!!! i almost cried cause he know that was what i was going to do.........
i'm addicted and proud of it!!

I didn't mean to comment on every cake, no one could accomplish that, I have just noticed that while going through the uncommented cakes a while back many cakes were being saved as favorites and had no comments. It seems that if someone is going to save a cake to their favorites, the least they could do is give a nice comment.
This cake community is a beautiful thing.
I Realize that I am "addicted" so I must make a meeting at least once a day; maybe three or four times but it's ok 
It's only 12:56 am EST and I wanted to make sure that the meeting is still in session- and it is...

These men all think alike, mine also calls CC my cake porn site. They're just sick. Then again, maybe they call it that cause they feel guilty for looking at the real porn sites when we're not around, who knows.
