I had to make a shower cake for a baby girl this past weekend. The cake turned out well, but there was a long stretch of time where I wanted to chunk it out the nearest window. I knew for a couple of weeks that I had to make it, but wasnt in any hurry as I knew EXACTLY how I was gonna do it. I was given free reign since it was for a friend of a friend ( except they wanted it SUPER GIRLY AND PINK). I waited till the evening before the cake was due then started on it which would have been OK except for the following, me and my sister were in the kitchen together , we always work together. We are always in sync and know all the same recipes etc.

Anyway this night things weren't so in sync, and we somehow made the same (wrong) recipe for RBC not one time or twice...BUT THREE TIMES!!!! Before we realized what we were doing and why it wasnt turning out! I so wanted to do it all smooth ..(*sigh*) but anyway..we worked all night and it turned out OK....but I was so tired and disgusted! I know that wanna quit feeling!
