Does this need a divider/border between The Little Mermaid & Scrat? I thought I would make one with seaweed but not I am not sure it will look okay and I can't decide where to put it with the way I put Happy 5th Birthday on it. It's for my son and a friend's daughter so that always makes me more crazy, LOL!!

Any suggestions??

TIA
LL

Have you thought abomut putitng seaweed at aht bottom (as it is in the ocean) and putting bubbles from Ariel up towards the Happy B-day?

BTW, the cake is adorable!

I like the way you have separated them by the color of the outside border...if you do add some seaweed just add a little. I think too much would make it too busy and it is such a cute cake! Best of luck.

What about not dividing it completely? Maybe seaweed from the bottom where the 2 borders meet curving up toward Ariel and ending just below the A in Chase. Than maybe some very pale white/blue to sort of look like ice/icicle coming down from the B in Birthday to just above the C in Chase.

Does that make any sense?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and comments, they were very helpful but my stinking computer wouldn't let me view them until now. I think the cable is messed up!! I still think it needs more division but I guess I will leave it alone. Besides, I have to leave in 5 minutes for the party, LOL!! Nothing like waiting for the last moment to do my cake for my son's party, ughh!!!

Take care!

That cake is amazing. Ok, Newbie here...how do you get the figures on the cakes...do I need to learn to paint?

mbalis, it is a frozen buttercream transfer. (fbct)
It not that difficult but it takes a bit of practice.
There are instructions in the How do I ? forum.
happy decorating.
