TO EVERYONE HERE, AND ESPECIALLY ONES NAMED BELOW
I have let you all down a bit.... and I am sorry, I had to pull myself away for a few days to tend to some moving issues and though I am usually very organized, right now I feel very ditzy, because I have tons of cakes to do for teacher appreciation, a cake for the teachers luncheon next week AND to top it off , I found a card that was supposed to be sent to TC along time ago, and postcards I was supposed to send to nashsmom even longer ago, where were they? In my husbands pile of papers! These were already not mailed prior, because of address, and being found in between the seats of our truck!, THEN I looked in this pile of boxes to be sent, and what did I find? A nutcracker that I bought that is supposed to be sent to tcrema! I love being here so much that I depended on my husband to send things for me, and he's busier then I am!!!! SO ladies we all are a bit crazy here, but thats because we all love it so much! And that's ok! Just dont let your friends down, like I have, do what you got to do and then come and play! icon_smile.gif

You know when you are getting ready to PCS and move your family across the country things get a little hectic. So NO apology is needed. It's hard when you have only so much time to get things together and move to another country! Good luck with your PCS

Flayfurdfun getting things ready for a move is time consuming, I'm sure no one is upset they didn't get the things you were supposed to send to them.
DH and I want to eventually get a new house but I don't want to deal with the 9 years of collecting stuff in the house we have icon_eek.gif so not in a hurry to be doing that!

Eventually everything will get done. This is coming from a girl that was so totally organized and then came DH who misplaces everything and then I had a child, talk about topsy-turvy icon_surprised.gif

I can understnd the hectic-ness of moving. I moved from an apartment to a house that's only a mile away. The move was intense to say the least. We still have some stuff there. Moving a mile was a lot, I can't imagine move to another country.

Moving is no fun at all, no matter how far you may be going! One move we made was from one house into the house next door...that was hard work, we didn't think we had to pack up very much and we could do it all ourselves...wrong! My hardest move was out of the house my family had lived in for 22 years, and I was the last one to move out so I had to deal with everything they all had left behind!

Good luck on your move, everybody, and happy new homes! Janice

I GOT MY NUTCRACKER!!!! naa-nanny-boo-boo!! icon_razz.gif Flay~ that's all that matters, LOL Tammy doesn't need her's icon_razz.gif Just joking!! I had totally forgotten about the card.. so no worries~ thumbs_up.gif

You would think that us military people would get used to moving but we never do! It is always hectic & always a big mess!! We bought a home nearly 3 years ago & we're planted right here for life!! It seems so weird!!! I'm ready to move every 3 years icon_lol.gif

I don't know how your making all those cupcakes & cakes while getting ready to PCS too.. you crazy woman??? icon_eek.gif Maybe you should slow down a bit & not do so many things a once. Especially all those cake/cupcakes. Take my advice... someone will do the cakes if you don't. icon_smile.gif That's a nice thing to do but don't over do it~

No apology necessary~ icon_wink.gif

Well I got the apple cupcakes done.... or should I say cherries....they look more like cherries! but thats ok.... my kids frosted one flavor I did the other...... this way the teacher could tell that there are two different flavors.... I am taking a picture...just not sure if I will post.... we'll see....

as for moving.... we have a little over a month before the packers come... I pretty much have everything on an inventory, from CDs to DVDs to VHS, to all the Deer I bought the hubby this year through the Danbury Mint... heck I even have my Polish pottery on it too, along with all my Pampered Chef.... I am pretty proud of all I have gotten done in the last week or so....
