After reading this site and printing a lot of topics, here is my first cake. I made my own Buttercream icing and used the VIVA towels to smooth it. My shells are bad, but that will come with practice, I hope! I cut stars out of Wilton fondant, tasted hideous. Will try making the MMF next time I want fondant.

I think your cake looks fantastic. You said it's your first cake, did you take classes, because the cake looks really good.

To lainee; no I didn't take any classes but I bought the Wilton course I book to do at home. It's so much fun. I will be going to the tent sale; it's about 20 minutes from my house!
