I just finished baking 4 batches of NFSC. It turned out to be about 100 cookies. I'm still missing about 60 cookies but I was to tired to continue. icon_sad.gif I don't know how other people can do so many at a time.

first, welcome to the family! you'll love it here! thumbs_up.gif

second, i know what you mean. i had an open house and cake tasting earlier this month and spent 5 1/2 hours baking 38 dozen mini cupcakes, 3 hours making chocolate mice and 8 hours making frostings and fillings over two days. after the open house was over, i went to bed at 830!

what are all the cookies for? good luck!

some days I question how I do it too! Love doing it but it can be trying at times. I am dreading next weekend 8 cakes I know of right now, could have more! I never turn down business icon_smile.gif

Cookies are grueling, back-breaking work! Which is why I primarily make cakes now! However, cakes can be grueling too...but I think cookies are FAR worse!

I feel your pain. I am in the midst of only turning out 50 and it is taking me days, literally from baking through decorating. I feel like charging 10 $ a cookie right now icon_biggrin.gif

SueW, you sound like me! Hubby says that I need to make sure I pay myself an hourly wage when I figure out costs. I would have to charge $30 per cookie because I'm just not that fast yet.

I totally agree icon_biggrin.gif At the rate I move (slow as a snail) I think I am losing more than I am making, actually I know I am. I just need to learn to speed it up. These just take me forever and I always say "never again" but I love to make them icon_rolleyes.gif
