Here is a pic of my finished Dora cake for a 2 year old little girl. 10 inch double round on the bottom, one layer WASC and the other Dark chocolate, and 6 inch on top with the same flavors. Buttercream Dream frosting, and Cookies and cream filling. Used fondant for the butterflies, explorer stars and flowers. All dusted with pixie dust. I really enjoyed making this cake. The Mom loved it!!
That's adorable! I have to do one for next weekend and may have to borrow this one for inspiration!
It's very pretty. The butterflies and stars are so cute!!!
You did a really nice job. I think it is very very sweet.
SOOOOO CUTE!!! Love those butterflies and stars.
It is just too cute. My favorite has to be the stars and butterflies.
Oh, this cake is just adorable! You did such a great job!
This is so cute I just did a castle cake for my daughters 3rd birthday. She recently informed me she wants her next cake to be a Dora
I posted on the actual gallery - but that is a gorgeous cake
I love it!!!! I have to put it in my favorites for inspiration as well. Hope that's alright!?
Last year I did a Dora cake for my 3 year old niece's birthday and it was no where near as cute as yours. She had me do a Straberry Shortcake for this year and the next day she asked if I remembered how to make a Dora cake because she wants another one next year. If I may, I will use yours as inspiration for her next cake?
Hi Everyone!! THANK YOU so much for the wonderful comments. And it is such an honor to have my cakes but in your favorites and used for inspiration. That is what I do here, and I must say, without all the wonderful people here with their pics for my inspiration, I dont think, I could do it. I really really LOVE CAKE CENTRAL!!! The people here ROCK!!! I really am just starting out, that was my first stacked cake and I had sooo much fun making it. The Mom called last night after the party and said the cake was beautiful, she hated to cut it, but it smelled too good, and she loved the flavors and filling. So everybody is happy all around, I cant wait to do another one!!
