OK I want to try making a chocolate cake w/ raspberry filling - first of all do you think this is a good combo? This will be my first time using a filling I norm only put bc between layers...

Second I found this recipe on this site http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-2030-47-Rasberry-mousse-filling-II.html

it says I need raspberry all fruit - is that preserves or what exactly is that and can I just find it at the grocery store...

TIA

All Fruit is jam without added sugar. It is a bit heavier than jam, but regular jam can work, it may be sweeter and softer.

Chocolate and raspberry are excellent togeter. You can also just stir some jam into your icing, or use the jam all by itself (with an icing dam)

I think the most common brand is Polaner all fruit..........you know the one with the silly commercials where someone is always trying to spread it with a spoon or something ??? LOL It's right in the same section as the jams and jellies.
