I am hosting a Stag and Doe for my sister and less then 2 weeks and I don't have a cake idea yet. not even a clue of what type of cake to make for the couple. I have never done a cake for a stag and doe before. I need ideas the day is fast aproching and still no ideas. If anyone can please help with this I am open to all ideas. Thank you Sherri 
Is a stag and doe party where money is raised to help the couple pay for there wedding? Could you make a cake that is sort of like a money tree? Or maybe shaped like a pretty basket? Sorry if this wasn't what you had in mind I have never been to one of these parties

I had never heard of a stag and doe party either. I think we just call them couple showers. Do you only give money? I like the money tree idea if that is the point of the party!
I am suprised how many pepole have not heard of the Stag and Doe. At the Stag and Doe or some call it the Buck anf Doe. We play all sorts of games that raise money. We will also raffel off Bottles of liquor. We sell tickets for $10 to get in the door. All teh money raised goes to the couple.
Did anyone else notice that all those who knew what a stag and doe party is are from Canada, and those who don't are from the US? LOL!
