I have been asked to do an order for National Scrapbook Day. I cna't think of anything cute. Any ideas? The only cutter I could find that related at all to scrapbooking was scissors and I am not too excited about that idea!

You could do an assortment of cookies to look like scrapbook supplies--rulers, scissors, pencils, cameras--and some square or circle cookies with pretty, random patterns to look like scrapbook paper. I'm a scrapbooker, so you'd think this would be easy, but I'm pretty stumped beyond that!

I don't scrapbook but I was looking around at different webpages and what occurred to me is scrapbooking includes practically everything. It has letters, cutouts, flowers maybe you can somehow add those things into the idea of the scissors. Don't get stuck with one thing when this is a subject that includes so many things. Maybe you can even do some square cookies that look like the scrapbookig paper or frames for pictures, things like that.

I hope that made some sense.

What about the open book cutter , with squares here and there to represent photos on the page. Maybe do "chalk pastels" or "multi color inking pad" by using a rectangle cookie and doing different color squares or rectangles for the "inks". The scissors would be cute also... Or use a square cutter and use a skewer or something to make holes along one edge, bake , and then run licorice string through holes so it makes a spiral like a spiral bound photo album! Does that make any sense?

How about a tiny simple but elegant quilled flower using fondant?

I would look at the paper designs on www.creativememories.com, it might give you an idea for flowers or patterns that are on their current papers.

I do something very similar to heidisuesmom, (I am an avid scrapbooker, also). I have a few clients who hold scrap-a-thons and all nighters and these are great. Just cut them up like brownies and serve. I wish I could get my photo's loaded on here...but I am having PC issues with my folders...ugh.

Tape, a bottle of glue (even though i use double sided tape in my scrapbooks) um... how about use the scissors (open of course) and cut out different edges like the zig zag, the wavy, the half circles that give you a funky border. How about some 'punches' of things comonly used speeach bubbles, hearts, baby things (if anyone has kids), animal things (bones dogs, cats, paw prints etc), flowers (for spring), maybe some letters ('stickers') other than that im at a loss...

I definitely agree with the camera suggestion. It was firtst thing that popped into my head. What about square cookies that have a little frame piped around them or made of MMF and a face piped inside to represent a photo?
