I'm in need of Prayers for my mother.Friday she was told she has
Cervical cancer and she will need a hysterecrtomy.
She goes today to see the specialist to find out what kind of a hsyterectomy
she needs and if there is anything else that she needs to do.

Last year she had two heart attacks and then a double bypass.Now this.I'm really worried so any and all prayers will help. Thank you.

Consider it done! Will keep her in my prayers and thoughts.

My mother in law had a mild heart attack in March 2003 and a triple bypass surgery. She cover well. Last year the doctors dicover she had colon cancer. She went through with the sugery and now she doing chemotherary. Be strong for your mom. Good luck with averything.

But she has to go for biopsys they need to see where the cancer is coming from and if it has spread. Then she goes for radiation every day for 5 weeks.

There is a website called www.hystersisters.com that has a ton of information and a forum board much like Cake Central. Anything that has to do with women's anatomy, you'll find an answer for. There is a section on cancer as well. They give great advice (like here). It might be worth looking into and asking questions. Best of luck to your mother. Stay strong.

I thought i should update everyone on my mom.My mom has stage two cervical cancer.She starts her Chemo and radiation tomorrow.Chemo is once a week for 6 weeks and radiation is 5 days a week for 6 weeks.The doctors are giving her a 70 percent chance that the cancer will never come back after this treatment.I'm hoping it never comes back.
I just found out my sister also has cervical cancer she is 24,we find out what stage her's is in Aug.28.Not a very good summer.Thanks again for all the prayers.

Oh dear, I am so sorry to hear of your families health problems. 24 is soo young to have these problems. I will pray for your family, for strength in body as well as mind, and faith!

Your loved ones are in my prayers. Just a thought but have you been checked for this? I had the very early stages of cervical cancer but fortunately it was caught in time. I was only 17 when it was detected. Pap tests are of the utmost importance to me now.

Dordee,Thank you. I'm glad they caught yours in time.I had cervial cancer 8 years ago i was 25. After my son was born they found it at the 6 week check up.I was treated and it hasn't come back.I Agree pap tests are VERY important.
