Please help me to decide if I should add yellow magic sparkles to this cake. I am entering a contest in a few hours and I am having doubt if magic sparkles would ruin the look of this cake or not. Thanks in advance for your opinion. The text says "happy easter" in Danish.

I think it is beautiful just the way it is. My opinion would be no to the sparkles.

I would leave the cake as it is. It´s really beautifull and classic. But as lasidus said: where would you add the sparkle?

Tuggy, it is a small contest in the only cake decorating shop in Denmark. It is held in Rungsted, about 30 minutes drive from Copenhagen.

I got second place.
It is sponge with marzipan and chopped almonds, almond meringue, lemon mousse and chocolate ganache with dark rum - mmmmmm.

Beautiful cake and it sounds yummy. If you want to share the recipe I'd love to have it.
