Need Help With A Time Line

ok so i am planning on making a 3d car for my sons 10th bday party. the party is at 1:30 on sunday. i have not started anything for this cake yet. i have my plan in place i know how im going to do everything and i have a back up plan just in case. im not sure when i should start the cake. i know i need to bake and freeze before i carve. im also doing cookies for this party which i plan on starting on friday. when should i bake my cakes and should i wait until saturday to carve????im not planning on actually putting the icing on until saturday. any help getting my time line together would be appreciated.

I made a erotic cake...woman torso in a bikini..I posted it here under female naughty cakes. I didnt freeze the cake.

what I did was let it cool alittle and then I got the sharpest knife I had and VERY CAREFULLY in tiny steps...started to sculpt.

check out my cake. It was easy and it came out really good.

I made a 3d car and I made my cake late in the evening the day before I carved and iced it. I also used a yellow pound cake so it was easier to carve. It's posted in my photos here.
