Thanks everyone! As promised i'm now 16! icon_biggrin.gif My bday was a good one ,but i'm getting a little annoyed with the relatives here. They're big on parenting me ,which i don't appriciate. But ah well. We had a sweet 16 party and everything.

I didn't get a present from my parents yet. My parents are having a big family party tomorow for me, my sister, and brother together. I think i'll get q present then, if not it won't bother me either way. icon_smile.gif

So I suppose you heard that expression, "Sweet 16 and never been kissed" enough to drive you up the wall by now then? Haha!
So listen here kiddo, haha, you had us fooled because in your Caramel Cake post you said you were 16, not almost 16. So here is the thing kiddo, when you are under 25, you tend to say the number of the year you are closest to, likely because it seems a good thing to be a bit older. But when you reach 25 and older, well heck, you are going to be the lowest number right up until the exact moment when you reach another year older. So, at 30, you are 30 until you exactly reach 31. Then, in some cases, when you hit 39, well you are 39 forever and some folks actually start going backwards.
We will have to check back with you in another 9 years to test the theory!

Rofl! Well actually i think that was a mistake on my part. Sometimes when it gets close enough to my bday i start saying my year older because when i was little and my bday passed i'd always get my age wrong forgetting i just had a bday. LOL

On that note, no present from my parents. I guess they considered the party for me and my sis they're present to us. Which is ok ,but i don't know, I would have appriciated a tiny something(nothing huge or even slightly big its just the thought that counts) ,but it's ok. I have enough. icon_smile.gif

(but don;t take this the wrong way, i do appriciate the big party my parents gave. icon_smile.gif )

Happy Belated Birthday!!! Sorry you didn't get a gift. They did give you a party and that was nice. Sometimes parents do things we don't understand, believe me, mine still does and I'm soon to be 44.

So, I was peeking in your photo gallery and I don't see any new cakes!!! Are you going to go nuts when school lets out and bake all summer?

Lol! I guess we'll never understand parents! Thank you!

Ooh you bet! Once summer get's out i'll be doing cake ahoy!

The reason i haven't been able to do any new cakes is my mom won't let me bake or decorate anymore. icon_cry.gif She said until she said yes(which has been a LOOOOG time) i can't bake because i made the kitchen to big of a mess. And i really want to bake. I've been sneaking in baking on late saturday nights after she's alseep ,but i don't have much time for decorating with her breathing down my neck. Ugh.

I got screamed and yelled at for the beer barrel cake even though i cleaned the enitre kitchen(swept, moped, dishes, the whole thing) out of my own free will so it'd be spotless..

Let's jsut say she hasn't been in the greatest mood for a long time.

That's my parent venting for the night. LOL! icon_razz.gif
