I just had a mom call and order a cake for her son's first bday. She wants the Wilton One pan. but didn't have any suggestions for decor. She has no theme and when asked what he likes to do she says smile. Now that's adorable but doesn't help me with a cake idea. I have 2 little girls and no boys so I don't even no where to start. PLEASE HELP ME!!
Thanks
you could draw balls all over it, or maybe blocks and then in each block, put a letter of his name in each of the blocks
I have a little boy, so I can give you LOTS of ideas!
Ice the one to look like a pond, with turtles and frogs, etc. (this one is my favorite!)
Sports balls
Elmo/Sesame Street
Puppies & paw prints
Bears
Dump trucks, tractors, cars, trains
Blue's Clues
Really, at 1 yo, the child will be thrilled with anything that is recognizable to him. A character from a book that has been read to him a lot, something that resembles one of his toys, etc. Animals are always fascinating to little ones, boy or girl. Ask the Mom if she reads a story at bedtime, like "Goodnight Moon", or something like that if you want more guidance from her.
If all else fails, polka dots and stripes in lots of bright happy colors would always be cute! ![]()
