Hi,

This was my first wedding cake. Let me know what you think please.....good or bad.

It is a vanilla sponge cake with caramel filling covered in buttercream. The petals are artificial roses.

The picture was taken with a phone camera so the quality is not that great.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments. I was really calm until Friday and then my nerves were realy shot. I don't think I could have done this without the help and encouragement from Tracy (potatocakes).

Wendoger: The frosting was done first smoothly around the cake and then I took a desert spoon and using the back did the indents.

cakemommy : The phone is a Sony Ericsson w800i. Yes I too am amazed with the quality of the picture.

4cardsfanz : In my part of the world it is Autumn (fall) at the moment so I guess it all fitted in well then.
