I am doing a small wedding cake for my BIL, he told my DH that their colors are green and orchid (that's what colors the girls dresses are). I am thinking of orchid as being a purple color, but I am not sure. Does anyone have an idea od=f what kind of color that might be?

I just bought a bag of candy melts called 'orchid'. It's like a lavender. I would ask for clarification, myself.

Yeah - orchid means "purple" to me but that leaves a lot open. Is it dark purple? or lighter like lavendar? Is it more pink? or more blue tone?

Can you get a swatch of their dress color? People often get them so they can have shoes dyed to match. Why not so that the cake color can match?? icon_smile.gif
