I need an idea for a homecoming cake for a girl returning from college for a break.

You can make a stack of books with a ribbon (or lock) around them. Is this for a spring break or summer break? What is her major?

Well...what does she like? What are the colors for her college?
You could do a Vacation theme! I think maybe a little more info. on who she is about will help you! icon_smile.gif

I like the idea of books, etc, but I also think you should determine what her "likes" are and gear it around that!

cake that looks like a:

lump in a bed asleep (don't wake until time to go back to school)

a big pile of laundry (funny touch -- "gift wrapped" with ribbon and bow and tag "for MOM) (my gift to mom every break!)

a note -- "don't worry -- out with...."
