I just finished cratering to 10" round yellow cakes when I turned them out onto the cooling racks after cooling in the pan for 15 minutes. I think I read somewhere that you can use a flower nail for a heating core. Is this true? Also, do you have any other suggestions for me? I prepped the pan as I did my 8" and 6" layers, but they came out fine. Thanks for your suggestions!

Yes, I love the cooling strips, too! I just don't have enough of them yet to cover all of the pans while baking. I guess that would be a great thing to get with my 40% Wilton coupon this week! Thanks for your help, Becky27!
