I was very burned out and stuck in a buttercream rut before I found this site. I have learned fun new skills in fondant and baking. I've gotten some fantastic new recipes. I have found the courage to start my own business and to participate in 2 Bridal Expos. I've gotten 14 new wedding orders in the last 2 months. YAY!
I really value the new things I've learned. It is really going to help my family through a rough patch ahead. Thanks everyone for sharing! 
OK well I know I didn't help you but I wanted to say congrats on the new business. I'm hoping to get my skills up to do the same. I too have learnt so much from the ppl on here! So COngrats and keep it up (wow 14 wedding orders in 2 months that's unbelievable)

I am soo happy for you Jenn123! I agree with you 110% about this site, it has really improved my life as well as crazy as it sounds. I am a stay at home mom for 3 years whom has worked since she was 13 (I'm 32 now) and finding out I have such a passion for cake and cookie decoration has been a total life saver for me and my family. I will keep you and your family and new business in my prayers. Congrats again!
