I finally got all the pics off of my camera, and just posted a bunch to my photos. A lot of the cakes were for new customers, and things are starting to pick up a little for me now that I'm getting my name out there!
I'd love to hear any comments or advice on anything I could do better!

Those cakes are amazing!!! I'm curious though, do you carve all of your cakes???

I love the pirate ship. My husband's b-day is Monday and he's a huge Pirates of the caribean fan. I want to make him a pirate ship cake.

Thank you! Yes, I do carve almost all of my cakes. People keep requesting sculpted cakes from me....usually after seeing one at a party or something. I would actually like to get into doing wedding cakes though.

Courtney! Holy crow woman! I would kill to have just one once of your talent!!! Love them all--but the princess and the pirate ship are just awesome!!!
Oh, still witing for instructions on how to do the dragon--nudge nudge...
My middle son wants a dragon for his b-day this year and I just wosh I could do one as well as yours!

Come on now! You have a LOT of talent!! Your tiara alone is amazing. I don't know how you kept that thing together! Mine kept falling apart over and over again. I ended up putting the whole tiara still on the can in my food dehydrator and covering it up with a bowl to trap the heat, and going little by little.
I'm still working on the dragon instuctions. I have step by step pics that I want to upload to my website...but my website isn't done yet. ![]()

Ok, this is the first time I've really had a chance to sit and look through your gallery and I have to say... Woman, you rocked my world!!
You go with your bad self!!! And I don't think any constructive criticism is even possible... my only advice is "Raise your prices cuz you're worth it!"
Your cakes are awesome! You are very talented!
GREAT JOB, i love the princess, cake decorating and sculpting just looks so natural for you. Love every single cake, i'm so jealous
.
You are an amazing cake artist!!! I could not believe what I was looking at!!!!! You should take a ton of pride in what you do!
I agree...your cakes are totally fantastic!!! I'm preparing to attempt my first sculpted cake for my soon to be 16 yr old son's bday .... I can only hope that mine can be 10% as good as yours!!! Can i ask what kind of cake you use and what fondant you use also???
Again..your cakes are just AWESOME!!!
Do you have a fav. recipe for your 3-d cakes?
I usually use White Almond Sour Cream cake, unless it's a shape that's tapered into the bottom. I also use a dense chocolate cake quite a bit.
I've been meaning to try a recipe of WASC using one pound cake mix and one regular but haven't had the chance yet...

Courtney, your cakes are FABULOUS!!! I loved perusing your gallery. Very very inspiring. Thanks for sharing!
Your cakes are absolutely fabulous.
I am just amazed.
I showed my DH your Spiderman cake he also thought it was awesome. ... Wont be showing it to my boys though, because they will ask me for one. And there is just no way I can deliver such a thing.
Your Red Dragons are also great, no wonder it's your avatar.
Great Work.
