I'm needing to make a basketball cake and need to know if anyone could help me. I need to know what colors to mix to get "basketball orange" I'm afraid my ball will look like a big bright pumpkin if I mix just orange. Also how can I get a "wood" color for the floor. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

To get the orange color mix in orange then a little brown. Are you doing the cake the floor or your board?

Americolor has a terracota color that is almost perfect. Depending on how much you put in and the BC base you are using you either have to add a little orange or brown or it might be perfect.

For the floor, I have not done light woods, you might want to start with something in the yellows and add some light brown or beige color. If that is what you are looking for.

Good Luck.
