Hello all! I'm fairly new to CC. Someone pointed me to this website 2 months ago, and I've learned a lot just from reading and looking at pictures. There are a lot of seriously talented people here! I've just recently started selling cakes instead of giving them away as gifts, and I'm having fun! I do have a question - where can I find a guide on what different initials stand for? Like FBCT, for instance? Thanks!

Welcome and make sure you upload some pictures, it's a really good way to learn and all of these fine CakeLadies and GentleCakes (take of the movie cars - I have boys!) are so nice and helpful. Dont be afraid to put your pictures up. We are here to learn and develop our skills, I know many of these cake decorators are so impressive. But you will learn lots and sometimes, you'll even get people asking you if they can copy your design! Now that is so cool! Of course their execution is awsome, but then you learn a lot from other peoples interpretations.

I do have alot of pictures. I like to be creative. I will post pictures when I figure out how everything works.
I just moved to WI, so I am not working yet.
They don't seem to have alot of cake decorators around here and they don't want to pay one either. Where I worked it OH, we did so many and the pay was ok.

Do I understand right, we are not to add any pictures from 3-D kits or picture cakes. I have alot that I have done with pictures on them some with the 3-D kits. I worked in a grocery store bakery doing cakes for the past 6 years, I took alot of pictures of the cakes I did. Customers knew I took the pictures, they were happy that I wanted one of it. I have alot of graduation cakes I did. I don't want to add the wrong pictures and get booted out of the site. Just want to understand this right.
