What are you all using to weigh down your light weight containers so they don't tip over so easily from being too top heavy once cookies are inserted?

I use those glass marble looking things. They put them on sale alot. I just put a handful in the bottom of my container, and then put the styrofoam in to hold them down so they don't rattle.

ditto! Except I put my styrofoam in first with marbles on top and then tissue, fluff, whatever!

In the past I've also cut a piece of heavyduty cardboard and hot glued it to the bottom of the container if it was light - then put the floral foam in.

I use aquarium gravel with styrofoam on top. The gravel also helps stabilize the sticks.

We were told in class to use a bag od dry beans. We put a half ball of foam in the bottom, then the beans and then a disc foam on top.

I put plaster of paris in the bottom of all my light weight pots. Gives great weight and balance to the pot.

Happy Baking!!

Ahhhhh...good idea there! I also like the aquarium gravel idea too but I bet the beans would be cheaper.
