Should I Leave Well Enough Alone Or Add More To This Cake?

Beautiful cake - It has just enough of everything. Glad your co-worker loved it, just one question. Did she have a hard time cutting it? I wouldn't be able to touch it-I'd have to get a bag of candy to share with everyone and take that cake home if it were made for me.

Antylucifer - I guess it is an unspoken rule that we all get to eat the cakes I make for my co-workers. They take home the toppers or anything cool like that, which she did with the shoe and a small section for their family if they want. Then we devour the cake at work. I always give them pictures too so they can show their families what it looked like since the piece they take home doesn't show much. She also asked me to take a picture with her and the cake which I did. So far no one has refused to share icon_smile.gif

It was a terrific cake. Did you use colored chocolate melts for the shoe, or was it brushed with luster/petal dust?
