I have been asked to do 100 sugar cookies with rolled buttercream and 50 LARGE cupcakes for a bridal shower at the end of June. The bride wants pink and black polka dots & stripes to accent both cookies and cupcakes. She also wants the cookies to be bagged with 2 cookies in each bag and a decorative ribbon for each.
I normally charge $1.25 per regular size cupcake and $2.00 per cookie. I'd like to get some input as to what others would charge for this order.

I must give my CC's away... I just charge by the dozen... like $6 a dozen... a little more if I put a topping on them like sprinkles or peeps or something... Funny when the lady picked up her 2 dozen with peeps (in my gallery) and I told her $13.75 she was like man you are too cheap... I was just going off of what they could get at walmart... though I know mine are better, just didnt' want to be too high.
I have baked thousands of cupcakes over the past two years and only make the large ones. I use the Wilton giant baking cups. I charge $2.00 each for orders over 2 dozen. if only one dozen then it is $2.50.
I charge $22/dozen for decorated sugar cookies...if they want them bagged I charge $25. I charge $18 for first dozen of cupcakes and $15 for each additional dozen.
Why compare with Wal-mart prices? If they want Wal-mart quality/prices...let them go to there. Do not ever under price your quality products...that turns them into cheap products.

I'm sooo glad to hear someone else charges like I do!! Frequently I read about the more inexpensive pricing and where I live even WalMart charges more than that! 
sweetconfectionschef and bobwonderbuns, could you post your pricing for sheets as well? Also if you do a FBCT on top of a sheet do you charge for the sheet itself plus a price for FBCT or all as one? Take a look in my gallery and tell me what you would have charged for the bustier cake.... it is a 12 inch heart with the sports ball halfed on each side. It is RBC in pink and BC in black... I just need to figure out my pricing because it seems like people always say... "that's it?"

sweet, how big are your cookies. I find that most cookies cutters are small
My cutters are 3-4 inches depending on which design. I sell individual cookies for $2.50 - $4.00 depending on detail.

My basic prices are posted on my website...check it out. As for the fbct I charge an additional $15 to whatever size cake it's going on. Example: 1/2 sheet $45 + transer $15 = $60.
I just did a 12" butt cake and charged my 12" price....$45. If I were adding the "female parts" I would have charged an additional $15 for the extra cake.
Your gallery is impressive...you are worth way more than you are charging. 
I normally charge $4.00 each for my cookies and they always come bagged. However, if they want a dozen or more, they are $3.50 each, or $42/dozen. Not cheap, BUT, they really large, time-consuming and worth every penny! For "basic" cupcakes I charge $.75 each or $9/dozen and more elaborate cupcakes are $1.25 each or $15.00/dozen. I'm contemplating raising my cupcake pricing....they are so popular right now!
