I have the decorating thing down (although obviously I am always learning!), but I need some really good moist and tasty cake recipes. I keep trying different ones and I never get quite what I want. I won't use a mix or doctor a mix so can anyone share some crowd pleasing recipes with me? Tx!!

It really is all about recipe testing. What works for some, doesn't work for others. There are several great books for cakes, and if you search "moist cakes" "scratch cakes" you will find this has been discussed many times.
Also, in the recipe files, you will find favorites. People wouldn't bother posting it, if they had not had success with the recipe.
