Started with white BC and added green and red...now I only have leaf and kelly green and no taste and Christmas red. I did the no taste with the leaf and saw some brown but it turned into this yucky looking moss color....added more red....then more green...a teeny speck of black....it's not getting darker. I don't need it dark but something resembling brown and not puke moss. Please help, it's upstairs!!

Yes--how much should I add? There are about 2-3 cups of puke moss in the bowl now.

Add until you get the colour you want. You might have to add a bit more water to. The cocoa powder may make the icing a bit on the dry side. So just add some water to re-adjust.

Go in small increments on both. This way re-adjusting is easier.

It worked, thank you! Yes, it was dry, too. Someone told me that once when making black, add cocoa. A big DUH to me, I have no idea why I didn't just make chocolate frosting....the recipe I was using didn't have a choc. alternate and I didn't think to use another.
