Can I freeze whipping cream? I only needed 2 tablespoons for my recipe and have no other reason to use the rest at this time. I would hate for it to go bad and have to throw it out. Just wondering if I could freeze it for another time?

Anyone know? icon_confused.gif

It won't freeze well. I make ganache and freeze that for icing or truffles.

equal parts cream and chocolate, with a dab of butter.

I freeze my BC topping-thawed then refreeze and I never had a problem. I guess works the same with whipping cream?
