Hi all
I attempted 4 things with this cake...

1. a carrot cake - not my forte - hubby likes the bits I cut off but I think it's too dry..
2. tried to make bunnies (thanks to Liis for her instructions on 2 min bunnies)... ((hanging head in shame)) I didn't do the tut justice.
3. Tried basketweave - first time and I so don't have a steady hand!
and lastly...
4. tried the spray colouring... hmmmm.... undecided on this...

On the upside... this cake is just to take to work... they are my regular "guinea pigs"... they eat just about anything!!

I think it's adorable! The bunnies look great, there is nothing wrong with your basketweave that I can see, and the coloring is FINE. It's a GREAT cake!!! I'm sure with some of that frosting it will taste great too!!

Your cake is absolutely adorable! You have to remember we're our own worst critics. I think you did a great job. Can you share with me how to make those bunnies. I have a cake for Sunday and would love to do those.

I found the how to make bunnies on CC gallery... here's the link

http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=coppermine&file=displayimage&meta=search&search=rabbit%20bunny&cat=0&pos=22&search=rabbit%20bunny

I just tweaked the shaping/positions to how I wanted them... and they really do only take a few minutes to make.

I was expecting to see a disaster and instead I saw adorable little bunnies, good basket weave and chocolate, mmmm. How can that be a disaster? Nice job! And thanks for sharing the bunny tutorial thumbs_up.gif

The bunnies look very cute and you did a great job on your cake. Basketweave takes a steady hand and that I do not have. There is only one thing wrong with your cake..... I don't see a piece with my name on it. LOL! icon_wink.gificon_wink.gificon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

What a sweet cake! I love the softness of the colours - it was green that you sprayed on right? It turned out lovely! thumbs_up.gif
