Hi everyone I have my first cupcake order for 48 cupcakes for a class party at a local elementary school. I just wanted to know how to fill my liners to where they don't overflow. My cupcakes always overflow. Anyway also how to package them in regular cake boxes to where they don't move when I transport them. I am thinkning about putting rings in them and also what tip is use to make the big swirl dollop of icing for cupcakes. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. You all be blessed in the Spirit.

Fill the cupckae liners about 1/2 to 2/3 full.I use the large open star tip to make the swirl..either 2D or 4B.Package them in a regular cake box careful not to squeeze too many in.When you are transporting use a piece of slip resistant shelf liner under the box and they won't move.

Congrats on your order thumbs_up.gif You can also attach the cupcakes to the board using a little bit of BC.

At a cake show this past weekend, they were selling pre-decorated cupcakes for .75 cents each, or they let you decorate your own for .50 cents each. Hope that helps.

Hi Ladies!

These are great for transporting your cakes. I bought mine at Safeway for $.50 a container. Pretty good! Check your local grocery store bakery if they'll allow you to buy them icon_smile.gif

They are 4 inches high, so no worries about smashing the icing when the lid is closed.

I wanted to buy some of those. I went to 3 different Wal-Marts and none of them would sell me any.

CK Products has a product that is about 4 for $5. They are like liners for your cake boxes. I think each holds 12. They are light weight, and have indentations for your cupcake to sit in and not touch the one next to it.

Bulldog, the holders that you mentioned are exactly what I have been looking for. I went to the CK Products website and am not able to locate the cupcake holders that you mentioned. Do you happen to remember what they call them?

I was surprised too. I think their cardboard cake boxes were more than that! Sheesh! I'd definitely get more mileage out of these! I often take them to mothers' support groups, so I do get them back and just wash and use for next time! Makes life so much easier!

I should stock up on them, though! Just in case they up the price icon_wink.gif
