This was the demo at our cake club last month in preparation for Easter. Gave it a go in the colours of my MIL's decor so it's off to her today. My piping skills are a bit disastrous but it's my first go so that's my excuse.
Eggs are sugar moulded and decorations are fondant.

very pretty! I haven't done a sugar egg in years, but I might do it again seeing this one. I have made the panoramic eggs will little bunnies and things inside. This is very classy!!

Sorry for the wait, I'm on the other side of the world so just woke up. They are just balanced with a disc of white fondant and lots of tylose gum glue. Instructions for making the eggs if you want them are in my photos under the photo of the egg. Thanks for the lovely comments!
