I agree with the raspberry suggestion...and lemon buttercream, and strawberries are also wonderful.
Passion fruit buttercream, make a passion fruit curd and mix with museline buttercream, very soft and nice.

I like the raspberry or lemon curd, but blueberry preserves are also very good with it as well. ![]()
After experimenting with that Raspberry Truffle cake that I made, I would be inclined to say...... Mix some of the lemon filling with (all butter) buttercream and fill every other layer with it and the curd.... YUMMM
