Do any of you know how to cover the dummies in plastic so that plastic is tight and smooth. This can't be difficult. Is it just me?

I first tried glad wrap and taping it "shut"...but that's not the greatest method....now I'm using glad press n seal, and it works really well....you just have to work with it a bit.

Let me know if you come up with some good tips...I might have to try one!

Good Luck!

I'm having really good luck with shrink tape. I happen to have some left over from moving. It comes on a roll about four inches wide, and the roll core sticks out like a little handle. You can get it at moving and packing supply places. Very easy to use. Anyway....you wrapthe dummy with it, and then pull it tight and it shrinks on itself and grabs the layer below. I do the tops and bottoms with a criss-cross motion first...and then wrap the sides in a couple of layers to neaten everythign up. t's not perfect....but way better than food wrap. Then, I run a heat gun over it to shrink fit tighter. I have a really hot gun and I have to be careful. I melt little spots in the styrofoam. But, a gun that's used for rubber stamping would work...as would a hair dryer, probably. If you can find some, I would recommend giving it a shot. Makes life a lot easier. Dummies are hard enough! icon_smile.gif

I have had good luck with clear contact paper. I cut flat pieces for the top and bottons and strips for around the sides. There is a very small space right on the edges, but it doesn't seem to matter.
