When is is bset to put stick in cookie? I am swimming with suggestions... before it bakes or when it is hot from the oven? I have some cut outs and some Wilton press in's.

I always do mine before...but there are those that swear by after. SOOO....I suggest you try both. See which works for you.

I always insert my cookie pop sticks before baking.
