Hello,
I must share this great tool my sister found for me at the Dollar Tree store. They have them in the scrapbook section and they are used to embose paper. I took them out of the case that they came in, (actually had to throw them on the ground to bake it!) and now use them to give texture to fondant bows, etc. So I got two rollers for a dollar! and bought one of each design. Absolutely love them and can't beat the price, especially when these rollers are so pricey at cake decorating stores.
Hope you find this useful too!
Sandra
I absolutely love that store - it is like my new disney world
Sandra, how long are they?
Thanks -

I saw those just the other day... what a great idea to use them for texturing fondant! ![]()
Wow...what a great tool for fondant. Thanks for sharing! That is what makes this website, and everyone who uses it, so special!!!!
I bought the same ones about a month ago. They were a bugger to get out of thier frames but once you have them out they work great. The roller is about 5 inches long but the design is only a littler bigger than 4 inches. the nice part is you have a possitive and negative of the design to work with.
What a great find! Never hurts to find a deal=) And always nice to find something to give a cake a new look! Thank you for giving us the head's up! Jen
Theresa,
As ljhow623 mentioned, they are between 4 and 5 inches. I love them to texture the bows I make. I also use them for the borders.
Wow, now I will have to stop over there tonight when I am out!
Great!
I went to three different DT stores today, but I finally found them. Thanks for the hot tip.

I'm confused -what did you mean by "throw them on the ground to bake them"?! ![]()
