I know this has been discussed before but I can't seem to find the thread...I'm baking a 16" round and I was hoping someone can tell me how to use the flower nail trick for even heating...are there different size nails, spray with cake release, etc...
I'd really appreciate any help and thanks ahead of time for your advice icon_smile.gif

After you have lined your cake tine, spray some cake release on a metal flower nail and place it in the middle of your cake tin. Make sure the flat side is down with the nail pointing up. Then pour in your cake mixture and bake away. Don't forget to take the flower nail out when your cake is done.
