I emailed Sylvia Weinstock a question about boxes and in a short while she emailed me twice to let me know that the boxes weren't anything special. though all of you here on CC might like to know how generous she was with her time. I would imagine this being a weekend she must be pretty BZ too.
I agree with this one hundred percent. I would hesitate to ask for dec. or baking help though. In the past, I have contacted cook book and cake dec. authors through the net to have recipes or some dec. help and they have very promptly emailed me back.
Some of them are really good at this..I emailed Kerry Vincent probably three times and she replied within 30 minutes of each email, and ones to Colette Peters, and same thing she responded right away. But some of them don't wanna be bothered, since they are too good to respond to our "little" questions..
but to those who do, more power to them .. ![]()
That's so nice to know.
Sometimes we forget that "celebrities" are human just like the rest of us, we put them on a pedestal.
It's great to hear stories like yours. I emailed Debbie Brown once and also received a reply very quickly, she was delightful.

That's part of what makes this such a wonderful profession/hobby. Most people are so helpful and friendly!
