Has anyone tried to make cake balls look like eggs? How about any pictures of pastel colored caked balls?

I might want to make some this week.

I had a couple of Easter orders for cake truffles this weekend, I was going to attempt to shape them like Easter eggs.

I plan on making a basket weave Easter basket cake for my family this weekend and making cake balls that look like eggs would be really cute for this! I might have to try some too! Thanks for the great idea!

Now I don't know if I'll have time to do them. I have to work tomorrow night and we're leaving town first thing Saturday morning. Boohoo. Show pictures if you make 'em please!!!

I did some, but they really don't look very much like eggs. The are brightly colored though! They are in my gallery.

TPDC--

Did you use a mold? They look so perfect! I like how the pale pink looks so glossy.

Next time I'll try to thin the candy melts with crisco...and start earlier, of course!

Kelrak-

I did not use a mold. I hand rolled each of them until I was pleased with the shape.

Thank you so much for the compliment.
