I made a rocking chair. I'm sure a bench would be way easier. I cut out gumpaste pieces and glued them together with royal icing.
I just realized that I never posted these pics, because the cake itself bit the dust going down out hills.

You should do a tutorial for us on how you made that. I like your sculpted animals too. I just made my first scuplted bunny last night. It didn't look near as good yours! Thanks! There is no way I could do a tutorial. I could barely get that one. You can see it's sitting on a pattern. I took it from a book that was for real wooden chairs. It was a little too ambitious, I think. I had to do the spindles in the back and arms multiple times. I made two chairs, just in case. I think coloring the royal icing made it break down, too. By the end though, the chair and the characters were all that was left of the Rubik's Cube cake. It bit the dust BIG TIME on the way to the party.
