Hello,
When you use MMF or any other icing to decorate your cookies are you able to do it on the side facing up or do they come out uneven? I read somewhere (might have been on here) that they flip the cookie over and decorate the side that is down on the cookie sheet... this side is completely level. Just wondering.
Thanks everyone,
Jess
I think when they were talking about flipping them over they were talking about recipes with bumps in them. Such as oatmeal, chocolate chip, etc... Because someone wanted to decorate other types of cookies besides sugar.
For sugar I always decorate the side that is up when I bake them.
When I take cookies out of oven I immediately use the small roller to flatten. Use light pressure.

Heeheehee, I used to do this all the time. If you take a look at the texas cookie bouquet in my pics, you may notice they are backwards.... LOL Didn't notice until I was ALL DONE decorating them. ![]()
Needless to say, make sure your cookie can actually be flipped before doing any flipping LOL ![]()
