Food Network Celebration Cakes, Which Was Your Fav?

Did anyone else get to watch the FN Celebration Cake Challenge today? It was cool to watch them.... My favorite cake team (Green) won the challenge... they had a pretty cool cake I thought... One of the techniques one of the guys on another team did which I had never heard of was to use a clothing steamer next to his fondant before placing fondant deco's on it.. guess it gives it a little stickier texture to adhere.. pretty neat! Anyway, it was fun hour to spend and check CC during the commercials and feeding my little man... but hey, I literally eat, sleep, and breathe cake decorating these days!
What was your favorite team today?
For those of you who missed it I think it airs again tonight.
I liked the one with the kid decorations like the fondant teddy bear, car, etc. with the present wrapped cake. I thought that was the cutest.
The green team did have a fabulous cake. I loved the colors

i definitely think the kid birthday cake one should have placed. i really liked pink and green though. that lady on the pink team was funny to watch. she kinda bullied the blonde lady around.
I agree with Beccakelly! It was pretty funny watching each one come back and be more pissed off about what the other did!
My fav was the green team as well. It just looked so nice. Then it was pink and the kids cake! I loved all of them. I think the kid cake should have placed too, not the MOMA cake. I just thought it looked cluttered and I don't know. DH didn't care for it either!

yeah the MOMA cake didn't strike my fancy either. The pink cake would have been awesome if the 2 women could have pulled it together... that one woman was sooooo funny when she would tell the camera guy she had to re-do something or when they paired up finally and she told the lady she didn't like her fondant rope... they cracked me up... I would have been the same I think. The kid's cake concept was very precious, I wish they would have been able to get it to where they wanted it to be, but I think they had too much going on for the little time they had... should have at least placed 3rd.....
that was a rerun of that challenge. I watched it again too. Was fun to see it again.
One of the members of the winning team, Rebecca Sutterby, is a member of CC. 
She was good enough to talk to us about the challenge, back when it first aired. It was fun to get her perspective on it!! 
I liked the present cake the best AND I think that that team worked the best together! I wish they would have showed more of them then they did. The show concentrated too much on the pink team because they weren't working so great together. Wonder why tv & life has to focus on negative things rater then postitive? Go figure! I do think the green cake team worked great together too~ But I think the present cake was the best~
