Is there anywhere I can find ideas to make practice (read 1st time)
royal icing decorations?

NEed some inspiration for my new venture into decorating

This link is for Wilton's basic techniques. It gives many instructions for flowers using royal icing. It's a start!

If you have not taken any of the Wilton Courses, they offer the 2nd course which deals with royal icing flowers, it teaches you about the correct consistancy of the icing. It's a good starting point.

For books featuring royal icing, check your library or look on Ebay. You might have to order them from the UK or Australia.
