I Hate Whipped Cream Icing!!!!!! Please Help

icon_cry.gif I need help. Customer insisted on whipped cream icing. First of all that crap is impossible to smooth. The design she wants has MMF cut outs. THEY won't stick to the cake!!!!!!! I put them all on the cake and they slid right down the sides. What can I do? The cake is due tomorrow.

You could try refrigerating the iced cake. Don't stress too much about a perfectly smooth surface, just do a nice cover. Once the icing is set, the fondant pieces may hold better.
