After about 15 batches of trying to make the IMBC i finally did it. Thank you to blittle6 who spent countless hours on the phone and on the computer helping me. let me just say if you are trying to make this and you are using butter from the tub....STOP.

you have to use the sticks. i finally got everything right but when i added the butter it looked like there was orange juice pulp in the icing and it would never whip up. so my DH says (after two days of trying) maybe you should use the stick butter, well by then i was irritated and i said "butter is butter" well guess what its not.

so thank you so much to blittle6 for all your help and now i can say....

"i know how to make IMBC!!!!"

I am going to do a cake tomorrow morning in IMBC and i will post the pic for all to see.

Hooray! I'm so glad it finally worked for you.

When I posted yesterday, I never thought to ask you what kind of butter you were using. Yes, it is vital to use stick butter!

I'm glad your dh helped you figure it out. icon_smile.gif
