I am so excited, i had to share with you all on how good it feels when you have a happy customer. 
I did a sponge bob cake for a fellow mom that belongs to the same mom's club that i belong to. She was so impressed and happy with her cake that she sent an email out to all of the other moms in the group (about 60) raving about the cake and even put a picture of the cake right in her email! What great advertising!!
There is no wondering there if she liked it or not. I know that a lot of times we put so much time and effort into our cakes and end up not hearing a thing about it after they pick it up, but it is times like this that make all that time spent worth while. 
That was so nice of her to do that! (Free advertising - woo hoo!!!)
I have a voice message that I saved from a lady that I did a cake for - it is so nice to play it from time to time! She said that she wanted to leave me a message because so many times people don't get positive feedback in any aspect - not just cake decorating. I thought that was so sweet of her!
Way to go! It is always so nice to get that postive feedback from a client, most of us do it because we enjoy it and not necessarily because we are going to make a fortune doing it.
I do have to say that I have started calling my clients a few days after they get their cakes just as a follow up to see if they liked everything - I usually tell them that I know their reaction on the outside portion of the cake but I also want to make sure that it tasted fine and everything was up to par - just food for thought.....
