I want to get this look with the bees ....I like the twirl .....I didn't want to use sticks because I don't want the straight out look.....

What are these bees on and where do i find them?

Thank you ALL soo much!! And thank you to the wonderfully talented people who made these bees!!!

I would guess that they are on plain old wire from the hardware store. I would just wash it before attaching the bees and letting them harden.

Florist wire is what I use to do things like this. You can check the floral section of the craft store, they have all different kinds. You'd want a sturdy one, not too thick, but one that has a tiny little bit of "spring" in it, sorry not sure of the exact guage.

Super cute cake. I posted a question about bees in the Cake Decorating forum I think.

That may just be the way the light is reflecting off the wire.

oh I think you two are right...I think it is the light..... icon_eek.gif

I went to Michaels and got 20 ga. and 16 ga stem wire.....I hope it works!!

Maybe once I spiral it maybe it will be sturdy enough to hold the bee? The thicker one they only had in green.....so the 20ga is inthe silver......I hope this works icon_cry.gif
