Can you freeze a cake filled with buttercream? I am waiting to hear from my Wilton class. It's snowing like crazy here and they might cancel. I baked my cake for class already and since I will be starting a new job next week i wanted to freeze this one for next week. Ideas, suggestions?

It's official. Class is cancelled....hence I need to freeze this baby. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Sure, it can be frozen. It needs to be wrapped to protect it from freezer damage. (tupperware cake carrier or a box wrapped in plastic) You can cover a boxed cake with an unscented garbage bag. Defrost in the fridge.
