I need to buy something to carry cupcakes in/ as many as possible. Am prepared to buy in America as you seem to have endless supplies of cake goodies over there can anyone recommend. Need to carry cupcakes for a wedding June. Thanks

I use the tupperware cake/cupcake carrier and they are fab. They carry 18 cupcakes and on the flip side is a flat board to carry a large cake. I have 3 of them and the cup cakes always arrive perfect. I got my from a girl in America off Ebay!!
I would love one of these, but she doesn't post to Oz yet.

I love that cupcake courier thing. My tupperware thing is so big and bulky and hard to carry while trying to coax a 2 yr old also.
wow what a great invention. i had never seen this. i think i'll have to order
deani...dumb question...what is oz
I use foil to transport. Take large piece of foil and form it on the BACK of a muffin pan (can do it for 24), then place the foil in a box showing the indentations for each cupcake. They travel well, it's cheap, doesn't need returned or cleaned! 24 will fit in a 14x19 box.

You could buy individual boxes. Here's a link:

oh, where did i see one that is two tiered?? i can't remember... i thought it was cool because it saves lots of space, having one layer on top of the other... oh memory, don't fail me now!
If all else fails, get a cardboard box, cut cardboard rectangles or squares to fit snugly in box. Cut small circles in cardboard so cupcakes will fit at least half ways so as not to topple or bump together. Leave enough space around the edge so you can remove the cupcakes easily. If you need more layers poke some dowels thru box to support another layer or as many more as you feel confident carrying in whatever size box you choose. You can buy heavy duty boxes from moving company or snag some from local grocer, wipe down with clorox cover in foil or paper. Just a thought if all else fails.
The one by Martha Stewart holds 3 dozen cupcakes and is available at K-Mart which may/maynot help you.
