Anyone have a suggestion for white frosting to frost a chocolate cake with? My regular decorator frosting has lots of fruity flavorings in it and I don't think it goes well with chocolate.

I've put vanilla buttercream on devils food before and everyone seemed to like it.

I use almond and vanilla extracts in my buttercream and it goes deliciously with chocolate.

I used this recipe and it was delicious but I used butter instead of shortening.

Is there really anything that does NOT go with chocolate!!!!!! ??? LOL As far as being fruity, people order choc with strawberry or raspberry filling all the time. It will probably be fine.
